STR Sugarplum & Gingerbread Dude
Muutama viikko sitten voitin Three Dog Knits- blogissa arvonnan, jonka palkintona oli ihanaa Socks That Rock- sukkalankaa. Lanka kotiutui viime viikolla tänne Suomen maahan ja pohdinta siitä, mitä langasta tulisi isona päättyi yhtä nopeasti kuin alkoikin. Nimittäin sillä hetkellä, kun näin nämä kaksi vyyhteä rinnakkain, oli asia selvä.
A couple of weeks ago I won a two beautiful skeins of STR over at Three Dog Knits. The yarn arrived last week and the question of what it would become was over in a second. The moment I saw these two skeins side by side it was so obvious what they would become.

Looking at those two skeins side by side I wouldn’t have thought they would be good together, but I love the scarf! I don’t have that talent of picking colors that will work well together - but you do! Love it!

OK, this is how much of a Socks that Rock Fiend I am: I knew those colors even before I read the names. I wouldn’t have thought to put them together for a Chevron, but they are making a beautiful scarf…and every color combination I have come up with has been hideous, so what do I know??

I never would have thought to put those colors together for anything, yet there they are, working perfectly.

I wouldn’t have thought to put those two colors together, but they look great! Like the ADD Knitter’s comment, I have started the Chevron Scarf several times with various combinations of Koigu and nothing has looked right. I hope you’re enjoying the STR and the scarf. The Endpaper Mitts are beautiful, too!
