Just enjoyed your blog and quilt directions. Had to tell you I immediately knew you were Finnish. I too am Finnish! Recognized the word Pikku which means small. I will be going to Finland this August 2010 to Jurva to visit my relatives and hope my Finnish will still be good enough to understand! Hyvaa paava to you and happy quilting…love Edna..my mummu called me Etna.
I myself am quite new to quilting, and have absolutely fallen in love with your quilts. You are so talented & so young. Some people are blessed with a gift, and you have been blessed with a gift to do craft. Your knitting is also spectacular. I honestly thought you would have been much older to be so skilled. You should be so very proud of yourself. Keep up the great work!!!! If only I had less children & more time, maybe I could make more quilts… and finish them quicker!! :-)
